ENTANGLEMENT

ENTANGLEMENT is a wall-mounted mechanical kinetic sculpture crafted from premium Birch-wood and Rosewood, powered by a tension spring. At its heart lies a lemniscate — the symbol of infinity — etched into the wooden face as a structural axis, connecting a system of gears, pinions, and spinning wheels in a continuous chain of motion.

Two orbital bird rings extend beyond the circular frame, one above and one below, each anchored by a carved arrow finial. They are separate, yet bound — rotating around the same invisible center, unable to exist independently of the mechanism they share. This is entanglement made mechanical: two distant forms, forever linked by an unseen force.

As the spring unwinds, every gear turns in consequence of another. The spiral turbines spin, the ring gear drives the satellites, and the twin orbits trace their endless path. There is no single origin of motion — only a system so deeply interconnected that cause and effect become indistinguishable.
